Pakistan (2017-2018)

Assessment of the effectiveness of citizen engagement in urban WASH governance with regards to meeting communities’ WASH priorities, changing relationships between/within communities and local government, and creating equitable and sustainable access to water in the new urban settlements in Sindh and Punjab. The evaluation was commissioned one year after project closure as part of Oxfam’s new global outcome area “Sustainable Water”.

Bangladesh (2018-2019)

Assessment of Oxfam’s contributions to strengthening Bangladesh’s national climate resilience through effective policy change for sustainable brick production and consumption. The evaluation is being conducted six months prior to project termination and investigating the country’s absorptive, adaptive and transformative potential (drawing on Oxfam’s resilience framework) for making the shift to alternative bricks.

Myanmar (2015-2016)

Assessment of the effectiveness and sustainability of citizen membership organisations for building resilience in the Dry Zone area 18 months after project closure. The Dry Zone is an area that spans from lower Sagaing region to the western and central parts of Mandalay region and most of Magway region, where approximately one-quarter of the country’s population is living. Situated in the shadow of the Rakhine mountain range, the land is very dry and heavily by climate change.
